Takoyaki lunch.

From my recent shopping trip to Mitsuwa brought a pack of frozen “Takoyaki” (jap., romaji) – essentially a baked wheat blob with a piece of octopus inside.
That’s where the name of the dish originates from “tako” (jap., romaji) – octopus and “yaki” (jap., romaji) – process of baking food.
Served with special souse and topped with “bonito” (jap., romaji) – dried tuna shavings.
Already pre-cooked and astonishingly delicious.

Do you have an ability to satisfy “otaku” cravings on your side of the pond?

One Response

  1. If the pond is full of takoyaki and okonomiyaki, then yes it would definelty satisfy a bunch of ” otaku”! 🙂
